Hello, World!

This is a test of using Squarespace as a blogging platform. And an official beginning to my new home base for Learning in Public operations.

I think I like it!

It’s very easy so far! A bit pricey, but I am enjoying composing things in it. I suppose maybe that price can motivate me to get more done. Squarespace does allow content download so I’ll not be locked in should I need to bounce. Worst case I’ll write a scraper if I can’t get a decent download.

Done is better than perfect.

I’m outsourcing content management because I don’t want the overhead of maintaining my own custom site, on top of producing the content that goes on it. The site should ‘just work’, and not be another thing in the way of me doing fun stuff.

Mostly Programming & Electronics Content To Follow

I’ve got a  bunch of Ideas I want to carry out over the next year.  It’s going to be interesting, and around this time next year, I hope to look back upon a body of work I can be proud of. And best of all the content will belong to me, and not a company that can fall prey to some billionaire on a whim.
